Former 6th form Geology students Yasmin Hassall and Jasmine Dibben made a return on Friday to visit the current year 12 and 13 geologists and talk to them about career pathways through geological degrees. Yasmin, currently in her final year as an undergrad at Portsmouth studying engineering geology, discussed career pathways both nationally and internationally and shared stories of the exciting fieldwork she has undertaken. Jasmine, currently in her first year of her PhD in volcanology, shared her experiences of following a research focused route through university and how her current studies of volcanic activity in Montserrat are going. We are extremely proud to have Budmouth alumni doing so well and helping to inform and inspire our current students.
